Mr. Jack Gibbs, age 50, of Lacy Creek Road in West Liberty, Kentucky passed away Tuesday June 26, 2007 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born February 8, 1957 in Magoffin County, Kentucky; son of the Late John Gibbs & Verna Pennington Gibbs.

He was a retired Captain of East Kentucky Correctional Complex (E.K.C.C).

He accepeted The Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized May 14,2006.

He was preceded in death by a Grandson; Jimmy Bailey Jr.; Brother; James Ralph Gibbs, 2 Sisters; Margie & Margarett Gibbs; Father-in-Law;  Roy Cantrell; 1 Niece; Crystal Dawn Gibbs; Maternal & Paternal Grandparents.

Survived by his Wife; Terry Cantrell Gibbs of West Liberty, KY; 1 daughter Jacklynn & Jimmy Bailey of West Liberty,Ky and their son Jackson Cole Bailey, One Son & Girlfriend; Justin Roy Gibbs & Jon Nicole Tate of West Liberty, KY; and his mother in law Edna Cantrell of West Liberty,Ky 3 Aunts; Matilda Conley of Paintsville, KY, Melvania Pennington of Miamisburg, OH, Evelyn Pennington of Jackson, OH; 4 Sisters; Patsy Carol & Richard Bader of Baltimore, OH, Cloteen & Earl Whitt of Salyersville, KY, Betty & Ralph Eugene Cantrell of Ezel, KY, and Ruth & Charlie Cantrell of West Liberty, KY; 2 Brothers; Gordon & Lila Gibbs and Everett Lee & Connie Gibbs both of Ezel, KY and one sister in law Ethel Gibbs of Wheelersburg,Ky

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, June 29, 2007 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Jenkins, Bro.Joe Oliver Jenkins, Cecil Cole, Bro.Dan LeMaster and Rev. Arlie Nickell. Burial will follow with Interment in the Dawson Cemetery in Lacy Creek, KY. Visitation after 6:00 p.m. Thursday Evening at Funeral Home.

Masonic Rites; Thursday evening 7:30 p.m. conducted by the Elkfork Masonic Lodge #755 F & AM.
