Billy Motley Obituary

Billie Joe Motley, age 77, of Ezel, KY passed away Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty, KY. She was born on November 3, 1928 in Clark County, KY son of the late Olen R. & Martha Dennis Motley.

Billy Joe was a retired heavy equipment salesman & attend Ezel United Presbyterian Church, Ezel, KY.

He is survived by his Wife; Mary Kathryn Phelps Motley, Ezel, KY; 1 Daughter; Kathy Jo & Marvin Cole, Ezel, KY; 3 Grandchildren; Christopher Todd Cole & Aundrea, Eric Brandon Cole & Shelley, and Leigh Anne Stiltner & Joe; 1 Great-Granddaughter; Shelby Jo; and a Special nephew; Edwin Ray Staton & Nancy.

Funeral Services were conducted at 11:30 am Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the Ezel United Presbyterian Church, Ezel, KY with the Rev. Keith McGuire & Pastor Emily Boyce officiating. Visitation was 6:00 pm Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, West Liberty, KY. Burial followed in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY.

Pallbearers included; Bobby Motley, Greg Motley, John Motley, P.D. Motley, David Motley, Joey Motley, William K. Phelps Jr., James Russell Phelps, Gary Cole, and Wayne Cole.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy maybe made to Hospice of Morgan County.
