Charles Edward Whitt

Charles Edward Whitt, age 63 of Wrigley, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 in the St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, Kentucky after a brief illness. Charles was born July 26, 1956 in West Liberty, Kentucky to Charley Whitt and Pansy Rouse Whitt Dennis. At the time of his death, he was 63 years, 4 months and 21 days old. He was of the christian faith, a retired carpenter, and longtime member of carpenter union # 136. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Charley Whitt.

Surviving is his mother, Pansy Dennis of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and his daughter, Melanie Rena Whitt of Pawleys Island, SC, one grandson, Ashton Taylor Whitt (Tonya) of Jacksonville, SC, two granddaughters, Isabella Maree Reyna and Jayden Nicole Howell of Pawleys Island, SC. Four great-grandchildren, Bladen Taylor Whitt, Colton Robert Whitt, Nevaeh Auroua Gomez, and Ally Nicole Miller. Two brothers, Michael Whitt of Wrigley, KY. Terry Whitt of Altoona, PA. One sister, Janet Ann Whitt of West Liberty, KY., and his long time pet companion Ginger. Host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Friday, December 20, 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Billy Perry officiating. Burial in Adkins & Whitt Cemetery, Wrigley, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
