Donald Wilmer Elam

Donald Wilmer Elam, age 67, of Hwy 460 W.,West Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at his residence. Donald was born July 6, 1952 in West Liberty, Kentucky to Donald Ray Elam & Laquada Henry Elam. He is a retired truck driver for Wells Ready Mix Co, West Liberty, KY. He loved the outdoors and  hunting.As a child Donald attended the Index Community Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Elam. At the time of his death, he was 67 years, 5 months and 13 days old.

Surviving is his wife, Lora Honeycutt Elam, his mother, Laquada Henry Elam, three children, Donald Brandon Elam (Brittany), Brian Holbrook, and Talia Wheeler (Wesley) all of West Liberty, Kentucky. Three grandsons, Layne, Clayton, and Colton. Two sisters, Gail DeWitt (Dale), and Vickie Stevens both of West Liberty, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm,Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Karl Elam and Rev. Mike Frisby officiating. Burial in the Elam Cemetery, Hwy 460,West Liberty, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Monday, December 23,2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Active pallbearers: Danny Wilkinson, Tim Mays, Wesley Wheeler, Chad Brooks, Russell Patrick, Mike Litteral, and Hugo. Honorary pallbearer: Lloyd Jones.
