Earl B. George

Earl B. George, age 75, of Davis Branch Road, Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2018 at his home after an extended illness. Born August 1,1943 in Elkfork, Kentucky, to the late Con and Rissie Cox George. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church, Mud Lick, KY, and a retired gun smith.

Surviving is his wife, Wanda Keeton George of Van Lear, KY. Four daughters, Christy & Carl Smith of West Liberty, KY; Barbara Shelton of Campton, KY; Pearlie Palmer of Wheelerburg, Ohio; Bobbi & Matthew Lacy of Paintsville, KY. Two sons, Matthew George of Winchester, KY and Jeffrey & Shawna George of Elkfork, KY. Six grandchildren, Forrest Smith, Christopher Palmer, Micaela Palmer, Isabella George, Gabriel George, Breyden George. Two great-grandchildren, Remington Smith, Ryder Wesson Smith. One brother, Burl George of Franklin, Ohio.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Roger Ball officiating. Interment in Ball Cemetery, Elkfork, Kentucky. Visitation after 6:00pm, Friday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky. Pallbearers, Carl Smith, Forrest Smith, Matthew Lacy, Gary Sparks, Christopher Palmer and Donnie Keeton.
