Elizabeth Wells Halsey, 80 of Mize, KY passed away Monday, July 12, 2006 in Stanton, KY after an extended illness.

She was born September 29, 1925 in Menifee County, KY a daughter of late Dillard Wells & Aulcy Bryant Wells.

She was a member of the Ezel Church of God, Ezel, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Dock Halsey, a son and daughter in law;
Jack & Wanda Halsey, one sister; Alta Halsey, and two brothers; Denzil & Maxie Wells.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Judy & Richard Rudd of Mt.Sterling, KY and Janie Manning of Ezel, Ky, 2 Sons; Fred & Sue Halsey of Ezel, Ky and Steve & Anessa Halsey of Bardstown ,KY; 1 Sister Juanita & Jimmie Adams of West Liberty,Ky; 1 Brother Jerry & Jean Wells of Mize, KY; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and
1 Uncle; Orville Wells of Franklin, Ohio.

Funeral Services were conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, with Bro. Harry Flannery & Rev. Jessie Rogers officiating. Burial followed in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY.

Pallbearers are the grandsons; Wayne Rudd, Keith Halsey, Jeff Halsey, Brian Halsey
Loren Manning, and Brad Manning.
