Elva Jean (Ison) Pack

Elva Jean (Ison) Pack, age 85 years, 3 months, and  15 days, of  Pack Lane, West Liberty, Kentucky. On Friday, August 3,2018  God called his angel home. Elva Jean was born on April 19,1933 in West Liberty, Kentucky to Thurman Ison and Annie Francis (Sparks) Ison), both of which preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edison Pack on July 14, 2007, and six sisters and three brothers. Others include a son, Ronnie Lee Pack, two son-in-laws, Nicky Ray Howard and Ishmael Patrick, a great-grandson-Ethan Bryce Scarberry. She was a member of the Union Enterprise Baptist Church,West Liberty, Kentucky,a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who enjoyed sharing her home with her family.

She is survived by her eight children: Brenda Gay Engle (Leon) of West Liberty, KY. Shelia Mae Howard of Salyersville, KY, Gwana Fay Jenkins (Willard) of West Liberty, KY.  Marshalene Scarberry (David) of Louisa, KY.

Jennifer Lynn Wright (John) of West Liberty, KY. Yolanda Sue Patrick of West Liberty, KY. Donnie Pack (Karen) of West Liberty, KY., and Stevie Pack (Betsy) of West Liberty, KY., Daughter-in-law, Wanda Pack of Piqua, Ohio. Also surviving are eighteen- grandchildren,Christopher Scott Engle ( Angela), Selena Jo  Bailey (Jason),  Eric Lee  Engle (Christina) , Dennie Matthew Pack, Amanda Adkins ( Robert), Nicholas Ryan Howard (Brandy) , Stephanie Perkins ( Jeff), Brittney Renee Ratliff (Brent), Leann Nicole Lacy, Lindsey Dawn Pack, Gracie Beth Pack, Stephen Kyle Pack, Wesley Bryan Scarberry (Stacy), Marcy Danielle Scarberry, Jacob Edison Wright, Johnathan Kyle Wright (Keisha), Jenna Elaine Wright, Christian L. Greive (Karrie), Katie Huber (Jason)  and Kory Weber (Brian), and 16 great-grandchildren. One sister, Janna Smith (Bill) of Springfield, Ohio and one brother, Ova Thomas Ison (Linda) of New Carlise, Ohio.

Funeral, 1:00pm, Monday, August 6, 2018 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Roger Skaggs, Bro. Manford Wright, and Bro. Donnie Pack officiating. Interment in Edison Pack Cemetery, Pack Lane, West Liberty, KY. Visitation after 6:00pm, Sunday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
