James Edward Dalton

James Edward Dalton, resident of West Liberty, Kentucky passed away on November 28, 2018 at UK. Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 79 years. Born September 30, 1939 in Cannel City, Kentucky. He retired from the Fox Paper Mill. He will be sadly missed by his wife Joyce Ferguson Dalton of West Liberty, Kentucky; his daughters; Leshia & Ed Opatken and Jennifer & Brian Weis all of Mason, Ohio. Three grandchildren: Candace Opatken, Nikki Aguado(Berto), Zach Opatken. Six great-grandchildren, Adriana Aguado, Maya Aguado, Kayon Opatken, Jamason Opatken, Davion Dalton Opatken, Kaleah Opatken. His faithful companion Marley. He was predeceased by his mother Alma Dalton, maternal grandparents Arnton & Artela Dalton, also two sisters Kathy Leckie and Maureen Lykins.

The visitation will be held on Monday December 3, 2018 at 12:Noon at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00pm at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, West Liberty, KY, with Bro. George Oney officiating. Interment in Oney Cemetery, Brushy Fork Road, West Liberty, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Ed Opatken Jr, Zach Opatken, Berto Aguado, Mike Easterling, Brian Weis.
