Attorney,James G. Farrar, age 77, of Hazel Green, KY passed away Sunday, November 3,2019 in the Life Care Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. He was born in Pikeville,KY on October 15,1942 to Everett Franklin Farrar and Dorothy Mae Helvy Farrar. James was a retired attorney, and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett Franklin and Dorothy Mae Helvy Farrar, and his wife Patricia Farrar on August 9, 2016, and one sister Mildred Argyle. Surviving is his children James A. Farrar of Excelsior, Minnesota and Allison E. Gardner of Stoughton Ave Chaska, Minnesota. Two brothers, Steve J. Piorkowski of Portage,Michigan, Ronald E. Santure of Reed City, Michigan. One grandson.
Funeral service 1:pm Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Karl Elam officiating. Visitation will be 11:am Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky.
