James Music Obituary

Our Angel, James "Waylon" Music, received his heavenly angel wings on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:45 p.m. at the age 9 years, 1 month, 29 days old while at Cincinnati Children's Hospital at Cincinnati, OH. Waylon was surrounded by his loved ones when he got to take his amazing Heavenly flight to Heaven to be forever with our Lord Jesus Christ. His loved ones in Heaven were anxiously awaiting his arrival at the Pearly Gates of Heaven. “An Angel in the Book of Life wrote down our baby’s birth and whispered as she closed that book, ‘Too beautiful for earth.” Jesus in Matthew 19:14 said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven.” Waylon was born on Thursday, September 15, 2009 at 12:57 p.m. at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He weighed 5 pounds & 7.4 ounces and he was 18 3/4 inches in length. Waylon is the son of James & Jeana (Guess) Music of Flat Gap, KY. Waylon was a 4th grade student at Flat Gap Elementary School at Flat Gap, KY in Johnson County. Waylon loved to attend school when his health would permit him to do so. Waylon's mom early on during her pregnancy was medically advised to consider ending her pregnancy due to the high risk of multiple birth defects. Waylon's parents declined medical advice and put their prayers in the Lord's hands. Waylon was later born with a cleft lip, cleft palate, blind and many other health issues. Waylon was not expected to live very long but God blessed us with 9 wonderful years of life with him. Waylon's parents dedicated their lives to seeing that he had a wonderful & loving life. Waylon was our "Little Super Man." He endeared multiple surgeries, countless medical tests and frequent hospitalizations with his most recent hospital stay being almost one year. Waylon on earth was unable to see, talk, walk, breathe on his own or eat on his own. We know that God uses the disabled like Waylon for His glory. God allows some people like Waylon to be disabled to show His awesome love for all of His creations and to help us show His endless love. Waylon now has a perfect heavenly body. He can now see, talk, walk, run and play in the streets of gold in Heaven. Waylon touched the hearts of everyone who came in contact with him. His amazing contagious smile lit up the world around him.

Waylon was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Everett Manley; great-great-grandparents, Addison & Delphia Manley; great-grandparents, John & Charlotte Guess; great grandfather, Newt Music and great grandparents, Kenneth & Eva Lee Vanhoose..
