Kenneth Martin

Kenneth Martin, age 81, of Yocum Road, West Liberty, KY, passed away Wednesday May 29, 2019 at his home after an extended illness. He was born July 23,1937 in Bonny, KY a son of the late Everett and Clemma Sheets Martin. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was a construction worker. Surviving is his wife, Linda Adkins Martin and two daughters Margaret & Phillip Elam, Dedra & Donnie Dye all of West Liberty, KY. Seven grandchildren, Stephanie & Joey Bargo, Brandon & Sarah Potter, Joshua Dye, Kayla & Brandan Adkins, Blake DeHaven, Alan & Seanna Elam, Sue Ellen Hedger. Fourteen great-grandchildren, Bennett Bargo, Oliver Adkins, Kensley Potter, Jack Bargo, Gabriel Dye, Ellison Adkins, Penelope Potter, Sawyer Potter, Alaina Elam, Sarah Elam, Ryan Elam, Andrew Hedger, Caitlyn Hedger and Andrew Elam. Two sisters Lena Conley of Grassy Creek, KY; Virginia Hopkins of Winter Haven, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett & Clemma Sheets Martin, sister Marie Evans, 2 brothers-in-law Brown Evans and Lloyd Conley.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday June 1,2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Sargent and Bro. Dean Lewis officiating. Burial in Wells & Wilder Cemetery, Sandy Hook, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm Friday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Brandon Potter, Blake DeHaven, Joey Bargo, Phillip Elam, Joshua Dye, Brandan Adkins, Donnie Dye.
