Mary Ruth Heagen

Mary Ruth Heagen, age 71, of Cambridge Drive, Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Ezel, KY, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born May 15,1948 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late William A. & Sara Dinsmore Heagen. She worked as a daycare attendant. She grew up in the United Presbyterian Church, Ezel, KY, and attended North View Baptist Church, Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Darrell Murphy.

Surviving is one sister, Dorothy Ann Murphy of New Albany, IN, and one brother, Joe & Linda Heagen of Middletown, Ohio. One niece, Heather Murphy Meyer & (Kurt). Three nephews, Tim Murphy & (Thuydung), Joe Willie Heagen & (Katie), and Jim Heagen & (Jennifer).

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm,Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Delbert Coffey officiating. Burial in Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, Kentucky. Visitation will be 11:00am,Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
