Oma E. (Phipps) Smith

Oma E. Smith, 76, of Perkins Hollow, Grassy Creek, KY passed away Sunday, July 22,2018 at St.Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. She was born November 21, 1941 in Buskirk, KY,daughter of the late Dave and Ethel Smith Phipps.She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was preceded in death by her husband,Grover Smith, son Ric Smith, brother Breaman Phipps. Surviving is two daughters, Diane Smith Perdue of Morehead, KY, & Jackie Smith Hobbs of Carlisle, OH, Son, Mark and Angela Smith, Grassy Creek, KY. Seven grandchildren, Dave Perdue, Jamie Smith, Danyell Perdue, Brooke Hobbs, Gracie Hobbs, Leah Hobbs, Logan Hobbs. Five great-grandchildren, Davanna, Emilee, Dallas, Connor, and Wyatt. Sister, Wanda Nickell of Grassy Creek, KY, Brother, Mitchell & Billie Phipps of Grassy Creek, KY.

Funeral  2:00pm  Friday July 27, 2018 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. David Hinton officiating. Interment in Smith Cemetery, Grassy Creek, KY. Visitation, 6:00pm Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers, Jody Hobbs, Wayne Fletcher, Michael Stigall, Nicholas Phipps, Dale Ratliff and Jesus Ramirez.
