Ovadene (Ferguson) Gibson

Ovadene Gibson, age 80, of Carlyle,IL passed away Friday, September 20, 2019. Born April 5, 1939 in West Liberty,KY. She was preceded in death by her parents Lonas Corbett & Nannie Bell (Peyton) Ferguson, and her husband Henry Lee Gibson, also four brothers and four sisters. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and sister. Surviving is her two children Carrie & Tim Bolk of Carlyle,IL.; Todd & Jana Gibson of Mason,OH. Five grandchildren: Kasey & Brian Davis; Kortney & Brent Schwierjohn; Kaitlin & Nick Mioux; Kody Bolk; Brock Gibson. Six great-grandchildren: Grady, Hadley & Libby Davis; Mack, Lila & Silvy Schweirjohn. Four sisters; Fay Deck, Karlene Gibson, Joyce Dalton and Betty Adams.

Funeral service will be 11:30am Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Raymond Van Cleave officiating. Interment in Oney Cemetery, Brushy Fork, KY. Visitation will 10;30am Sunday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be Friends & Relatives.
