Paul Lykins

Paul Lykins, of  Cannel City, KY passed away Thursday December 27, 2018 at St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after a brief illness at the age of 99 years. He was born May 18, 1919 in Cannel City, KY to Kelly and Frances Vance Lykins. He was a W. W.II Army Veteran and a retired farmer. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents Kelly and Frances Vance Lykins, his first wife Nova Lykins and one infant daughter, two brothers and five sisters.

Surviving is his wife Lassie Peters Lykins of West Liberty, KY. His son, Lawrence Gray Lykins (Mary) of Cannel City, KY. Three grandchildren, Joyce Cole, Jr Lykins (Ashley), Ricky Lykins (Miriam). Three great-grandchildren, Lisa Cole, Hannah Lykins and Taylen Lykins. Host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday December 31, 2018 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. David Stamper and Rev. Jimmy Tharp officiating. Burial in Lykins & McCarty Cemetery, Cannel City, KY. Visitation will be Sunday December 30, 2018 at 6:00pm at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are Ricky Lykins, Scott Prater, Chris Elam, Jr Lykins, Jerry Cantrell and Van Taylor.
