Richard "Dickie" Wilson

Richard “Dickie” Wilson, age 62, of Amelia, Ohio,and formerly of Morgan Co., passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in the Georgetown Community Hospital, Georgetown, Kentucky after a brief illness. He was born August 24, 1957 in West Liberty,Kentucky to the late Russell L. & Cleo Prater Wilson. He worked as a machine mechanic.

Surviving is his wife, Lori Carter Wilson, one daughter, Amanda Cowell (David) all of Amelia, Ohio. one son, Shaun Back of Eastgate, Ohio. Seven grandchildren, Salena Back, Brittany Combs, Matthew Combs, Kyle Combs, Brianna Combs, Daymian Cowell, Makayla Cowell. Two great-grandchildren, Austin Evers and Harper Pennington. Five sisters, Linda Wilson, and Bonnie Murphy both of Amelia, Ohio. Brenda Wilson of Richmond, KY. Sally Barker (Eddie) of Grassy Creek, KY. Susan Moore of Batavia, Ohio. Two brothers, Dan Wilson (Cindy) of St. Augustine, FL, and Tom Wilson (Theresa) of Williamsburg, Ohio.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Sunday, December 29,2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Danny Terry officiating. Burial in Grassy Lick Cemetery, Grassy Creek, KY. Visitation will be 11:00am Sunday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
