Ronnie Clay Williams Sr, age 75 of West Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at his home after an extended illness. Ronnie was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on May 15, 1944 to the late Wiley C. and Madge Sloas Williams. At the time of his death, he was 75 years, 7 months and 21 days old. Ronnie was saved and baptized in 2010 at Zag Community Church. He was a US army veteran, and a retired coal truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley C. & Madge Sloas Williams. One son, Ronnie Clay Williams Jr. Four sisters, Debbie Conley, Mary Smith, Leatha Perry and Loretta Preston. Three brothers Donnie B. Williams, Lowell Gastineau and an infant brother. A daughter- in- law of eighteen years, Sharon May Williams.
Surviving is his wife Patricia Reynolds Williams, two daughters, Janie (Tim) Peyton of West Liberty, KY, and Myra (Charlie) Wright of Salyersville,KY. Two sons, Nicholas (Leshia) Williams of Wellington, KY, and Dakota Williams and Brianna Blair of Morehead,KY. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One sister, Lana (Larry) Paul of Bluffton, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm,Saturday,January 11,2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Donald Cox, Bro. J.R. Keeton, and Bro. Jimmy Adkins officiating. Burial in Williams Cemetery, Lacy Creek, KY, with military honors conducted by the Morgan County DAV chapter # 132. Visitation will be 11:00am, Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
