Stewart Lyon

Stewart Lyon, age 60, of Improvement Road, Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 2,2020 at his home. He was born December 12,1959 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Samuel and Sylvia Ward Lyon. He was the owner of the Lyon Feed and Tack, West Liberty, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Ward Lyon, and two brothers Stacy and Stephen Lyon.

Surviving is his father Samuel Lyon of Salyersville,Kentucky, two children, Jared (Sara) Lyon of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and Hannah (Mark) Neace, West Liberty, Kentucky. Two grandchildren, Gracie Nicole Lyon and Victoria Faith Lyon. Five siblings, Sam Lyon Jr (Jeanette), Scott Lyon, Shelly Jenkins, Sherry Blair (Rick) all of Salyersville, Kentucky. Sheila Denniston (Mike) of Frenchburg, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Monday, January 6,2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Floyd Arnett, Pastor Hershell Wright, Brian Russell, and Jared Lyon officiating. Burial in the Samuel Lyon Family Cemetery, Coon Creek Road, Salyersville, Kentucky. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Sunday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
