Vela Fay (Cremeans) Jenkins

Vela Fay Jenkins, age 78, of Dale Ernhardt Dr. West Liberty, KY passed on Wednesday April 24, 2019 in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV., after a brief illness. Born on December 24,1940 in Garrett, KY to the late Vernon and Glenna McKee Cremeans. She was a member of the Lick Branch Enterprise Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Henry Jenkins, five brothers and one sister and one grandson.

Surviving is her daughter, Glenna Kay Moore and husband Dewey Moore  of Sandy Hook, KY. Son William Keith Jenkins of West Liberty, KY.  Sister Corrine Engle and husband Glen Bramham of Yellow Spring,Ohio. Three grandsons, Brian K. Moore and wife Beverly, William Eli Jenkins, Kyle Lee Clinton. One granddaughter Corina Sullivan. Six great-granddaughters, Mia Jenkins, Keely, Kyla and Heaven Clinton, Kaylan Moore, Tori Moore. Two great-grandsons, Kalvin Clinton and Rafe Price. One Grand-girl Charity Jenkins. Host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Monday April 29, 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Roger Skaggs and Bro. Donnie Pack officiating. Burial in J.E. Jenkins Cemetery, Old Hwy 172, West Liberty, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm Sunday April 28, 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Eli Jenkins, Brian Moore, Allen Stevens, Ryan Jenkins, Chris Helton, Dustin Havens.
