Woody Steven Bowman, age 63, of Cherry Tree Lane, West Liberty, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, KY, after an extended illness. He was born September 1, 1955 in South Williamson, KY, son of the late Talby Bowman Jr and Clara Kathleen Leedy Bowman. He was a member of the Toms Branch Community Church, West Liberty, KY, and worked as a coal miner. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Shane Keith Bowman, brother Freddy Bowman and sister Roxie Harrell.

Surviving is his wife Dorothy Mosley Bowman of Cherry Tree Lane, West Liberty, KY and three children, William Bowman of Pikeville, KY; Jessie Stamper of West Liberty, KY, and Destiny Coman and husband Justin Coman of West Liberty, KY. One brother, Bobby Bowman and wife Linda Bowman of Grapevine, KY. Seven grandchildren, Grant Bowman, West Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Lauren Jordan, Nathaniel Jordan, Emilee Blackstone and Bradley Blackstone.

Funeral service will be held at a later date. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
