Amanda Ellen (Keeton) Stevens

Amanda Ellen Keeton Stevens, age 65 or “Ellen” as she was known to all who loved her of West Liberty, KY, passed away December 6,2023. She was born, October 1, 1958, to Oral & Mattie Smith Keeton, the youngest of 12 children. She was a homemaker, a wife to her husband Mike of 47 years, and to this marriage they were blessed with 2 sons, Mikey & Scotty Stevens. She also was a loving grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt & friend.

She leaves behind her Husband of 47 years, Michael Ray Stevens. Her precious son, Scotty Joe & Rayann Stevens, she also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor Stevens & Samantha Reed, twins, Anastasia Nicole Stevens & Jasmine Marie Stevens. 2 step grandchildren, Jason Fugate & Haley Gross. She also leaves behind a great granddaughter, Paisley Jo Stevens, and had just been informed she would be getting a great grandson in 2024. She also leaves behind 2 brothers, Roy Keeton & Carl Keeton. A special niece, Sherry Lynn Arthur who was more like her sister than her niece. Survivors also include Several nieces & nephews, and many friends who loved her dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Oral & Mattie Smith Keeton, and her precious son, Michael Paul Stevens, 7 brothers, Tom, Ray, Paul, Dan, Shelby, Coy & Arthur Keeton. 2 sisters, Lucy Arthur & Gert Ball.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 Pm Saturday December 9, 2023, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, West Liberty, KY with Elder Bobbie Smith & Bro. James Brown. Interment will be held at the Elijah Smith Cemetery HWY 437 West Liberty, KY. Visitations start at 11:30 AM Saturday December 9, 2023, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

We the family take great comfort in knowing she was a Christian now in heaven with the Lord and all her family members that have gone before her.
