Beatrice (Lykins) Howard

Beatrice Lykins Howard, age 94, of Ezel, KY passed away Saturday, April 22,2023 in the St. Joseph Hospital, Mt. Sterling, KY. Born April 26,1928 in Bloomington, KY to Billy Lykins and Rachel Franklin  Lykins. She was a member of the Pine Grove Community Church, Ezel,KY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving are three daughters Janise Howard Gevedon (Danny Joe), Dorothy Howard Bartley (Rickey), Peggy Howard Murphy. Four sons, Jackie Howard (Marlene), Jerry Howard (Connie), Paul David Howard (Sharion), Harry Gasparrett. 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. One sister, Edith McGuire and one brother Marcus Lykins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Rachel Franklin Lykins, her husband Chester Howard, son-in-law Billy Joe Murphy. Five sisters, Gertie Tackett, Jessie Howard, Mable Howard, Pauline Howard, Faye Tackett and two brothers, Charles Lykins and Robert Lykins.

Funeral services 1:00pm, Wednesday, April 26,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Aaron Brooks officiating. Interment in Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation starts 11:00am, Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers: Jarred Murphy, Zach Bartley, Seth Howard, Samuel Howard, Joe Spencer, Allen Justice, Chaz Cox.
