Betty Jo Black

Betty Jo Black, age, 64, of West Liberty, KY passed away October 31, 2022 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born May 22, 1958 in Magoffin County, KY to Joe & Beulah Helton Risner.

She was a retired Activity Director with the West Liberty Nursing & Rehab Center. She accepted the lord Jesus Christ as her savior.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joe Risner & Beulah Helton Risner, one brother, Joe Jr. Risner, one sister, Juanita Risner Pratt.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Black, son, Brandon Black, two sisters, Flossie Patrick & Pauline Patrick.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday November 4, 2022 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Mike Frisby & Rev. Vernon Lewis officiating. Interment in the Black Cemetery, Blaze, KY. The visitation starts at 6:00 PM Thursday at the Herald & stewart & Halsey Funeral Home West Liberty, KY.
