Buel Cantrell, age 74, Liberty Road, West Liberty,KY, passed away Wednesday, November 2,2022 in St.Claire Medical Center, Morehead,KY after an extended illness. Born November 6,1947 in Ophir,KY to B.H.Cantrell and Lexie Young Cantrell. Buel worked in the strip mines and was a dozer operator for 25 years, and was saved at the Bertha Church, West Liberty,KY. Buel was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Dulen on April 2,1966.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Sue Dulen Cantrell, daughter, Jackie Sue Cantrell Back (James Back), one grandson, Larry Kyle Buel Wright ( Lindsay), two great grandchildren, Tennyson Jayne Wright, Mia Blake Wright. Two sister, Shirley Gay Dershem, Bonnie Faye Loraine, three brothers, Joe Cantrell, Denzil Ray Cantrell (Alma), Jeff Cantrell (Tosha). Step-grandson Joseph Back, West Liberty,KY

Preceded in death by his parents, B.H. Cantrell & Lexie Myrtle Young Cantrell, five sisters, Brenda Kay Cantrell, Maxie Irene Phillips, Cathleen Fuller, Nevil Faye Wamsley, Shanda Bonett Cantrell. Four brothers, Dan Hershel Cantrell, Scottie Allen Cantrell, Jimmy Dean Cantrell, Roy Gene Cantrell, special grandson, Brent Scott Cantrell. Five nieces & nephews, Scottie Allen Loraine, Ralph Eugene Pence, Penny Sue Pence, Stevie Loraine, Cody Loraine. Brother-in-law Dale E. Dershem.

Funeral services 3;30pm,Sunday, November 6,2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev.Jeff Adkins and Bro.Danny Collins officiating. Interment in the West Liberty Memorial Gardens, West Liberty,KY. Visitation starts 1:00pm,Sunday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral home, West Liberty,KY
