Carl K Ratliff

Carl K. Ratliff, age 82, of Mize, KY passed away Tuesday, February 21,2023 in the St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after an illness. He was born in Mize, KY on September 12,1940 to William Joe Ratliff and Ida Gibson Ratliff. He was a retired farmer and was a US Army veteran (1963 to 1966).

Surviving are his three children, Barnes Ratliff, Ova Ratliff, Sharon Bates. Grandchildren, Dillon Ratliff, John Bates, Kayla Ferrell, Ezekiel Bates, Allana Ratliff, Trinity Ratliff. Great Grandchildren, Lillie Ferrell, Macie Ferrell, Kinsley Bates, Kenneth Roberts. Two sisters; Daisy Ratliff and Minnie Watson

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Joe Ratliff and Ida Gibson Ratliff, his first wife, Shirley Ratliff and his second wife, Linda Sue Stone Ratliff, two brothers, Harold Ratliff and Willie Ratliff, sister Dorothy Tibbs, two children, Jeffrey and Robin Ratliff, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, February 25,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Gary Ferguson officiating. Interment in the Flat Woods Cemetery, Woodsbend, KY. (Military Honors conducted by Morgan Co. DAV, chapter # 132 at graveside) Visitation starts 12:Noon Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be family.
