Carlene Hammonds

Carlene Hammonds, age 57 of Elkfork, KY passed peacefully in her sleep Monday, April 4,2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 19,1964 in Ekfork, KY. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Lee Hammonds, her parents, Junior ‘Jack’ Fyffe and Maggie Pauline Hill Craft and one sister Crystal Fyffe.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Gale Hammonds, Two daughters, Cassondra & Dean Barker, Celsie & Wes Roney, One son, Cody Dean & Teddie Hammonds, Four grandchildren she loved dearly, Tori Lynn Barker, Cade Lee Hammonds, Corbin Thane Roney, Tillie Mae Hammonds, Five sisters, JoAnn & Tim Stevens, Pat Castle, DeAnna & Doug Manning, Angie & Scott Barker, Lilly Fyffe & James, Two Brothers, Elvis & Linda Fyffe, Andy & Stacy Hill, A host of nieces and nephews, a special friend & caretaker Jennifer Leach.

She accepted the Lord Jesus as her savior and attended Straight Creek and Index church’s when her health permitted.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Thursday, April 7th 2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Joe Gamble officiating. Burial in Eulas Hammons Cemetery, Elkfork, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers: Cody Hammonds, Dean Barker, Wes Roney, Elvis Fyffe, Jack Hammons, Eulas Wayne Hammons, Kwade Wright.
