Charles Lang McColligan

Charles Lang McColligan, age 84 of West Liberty, KY passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 in the Life Care Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. He was born May 27,1940 in Parkersburg, WV., son of Charles Harold McColligan and Elva Elizabeth Riffle McColligan. He attended the Index Community Church, West Liberty, KY. He served in the U.S. Army, and worked for the Walker Plant in the maintenance department.

Surviving is his wife Dena Joyce Pennington McColligan, West Liberty, KY. Three sons Don & Brenda Montgomery, Dean & Paula Montgomery and Charles Shawn & Tracy McColligan all of Parkersburg, WV. Stepson Rodney & Pam Pennington, West Liberty, KY. One sister, Susan Campbell of Parkersburg, WV. Host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Harold McColligan and Elva Elizabeth Riffle McColligan, his first wife, Maxine McColligan, brother John McColligan, and two stepsons, Ricky Pennington and Skyler Pennington.

  Memorial service Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00am at Index Community Church, West Liberty, KY.
