Charlotte Louise (Byrd) Graves

Charlotte Louise Byrd Graves of West Liberty KY, passed away Saturday March 25, 2023 at Pikeville Medical center Pikeville, KY at the age of 74 years 11 months & 25 days. She was Born Monday March 29, 1948 at Stacy Fork, KY. Daughter of Ruth Ison Byrd & the late Ralph Byrd.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Jackie Graves on April 23, 1988 prior to this union Charlotte was blessed with 3 beautiful children, Gary, Jennifer & Shawna. She held a host of positions at numerous hospitals varying throughout Kentucky & Tennessee. She was a devout Christian & a member of the Index Community Church. She was loved by everyone around. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her father, Ralph Byrd, one brother, Gary Michael Byrd. Father & mother Inlaws, George & Thelma Graves.

Surviving are her Loving husband of 35 years, Jackie Graves, mother, Ruth Ison Byrd, 3 children, Gary Prater (Elaine), Jennifer Leach (Daniel), Shawna Ward (Mark). 4 grandchildren, Ashlee Mason (Seth), Michael Prater (Cheyenne), Ben Austin (Brook), Dylan Stevens (Maddie). 7 great grandchildren, Brenton, Ainslee, Beau, Ridge, Brody, Bentley, Drake. 4 siblings, Justin Byrd (Mary Ruth), Phillip Byrd (Karen), Jimmy Byrd (Genoa), Lisa Lewis (Jimmy), a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews & friends. Sisters in law, Kathy & Robert Bailey & family, Donna Graves (Dwayne) & family.

Funeral service 1:00 PM Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Index Community Church with Bro. Mike Frisby officiating. Burial to follow in the Boney Haney Cemetery, Castle Branch West Liberty, KY. Visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
