Christine Vance

Christine Vance, age 83, of Denniston, KY passed away Monday, January 17,2022 in the Saint Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. She was born February 6,1938 in Fuget, KY to Bruce LeMaster and Ethel Burchett LeMaster. She was loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.

Surviving are three daughters, Rhonda Gibbins (Alonzo), Linda Cox (Scotty), Marsha Harvey. Four sons; Donald Vance (Marlene), Ronald Vance (Peggy), James Vance (Kimberly), Gregory Vance. Eight sisters: Loretta Blankenship, Nila Seegert, Della Herndon, Shelia Meadows, Fay Swift, Lola Horseman, Debra Davis, Leanor Russell. 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce LeMaster and Ethel Burchett LeMaster, her husband, James Harry Vance, daughter, Debbie Fay Vance, grandson, James “Bub” Gibbins, granddaughters, Amy Banks and Jamie Lynn Vance, one brother and three sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Monday, January 24,2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Terry Wells officiating. Burial in the Morris Cemetery, Caney, KY. Visitation will be 11:00am, Monday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
