Corenna (Howell) Keeton

Corenna Howell Keeton, age 81 of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday August 25, 2022 at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was born August 5, 1941 to Hattie Jewell Ison Howell Hall & Elbert Howell. She was a member of the Straight Creek Enterprize Baptist in Elkfork, KY.

Surviving is her daughter, Peggy (Anthony) Henry, Sons, Joey (Amanda) Bates, Randy Bates, Everett (Shane) Markwell, Dan (Jennifer) Markwell, Grandchildren, Kristy (Joe) Gamble, Nicholas (Jaka) O’Neal, Mickie (Shaun) Vance, Jessie (Rafael) Engelbrecht, Tehgan Bates, Hannah (Adrian) Bates, Michaela (Ben) Walter, Amberlee (Jeffery) Terrill, Morgan (Jarrad) Burton, Grant Markwell, Candace Markwell, Gabe Markwell, Garrison Markwell, Great Grandchildren, Asher Gamble, Gage Gamble, Zayn O’Neal, Ashyr Otis, Garison Otis, Bryleigh Vance, Brooklyn Vance, Leilyn Engelbrecht, Jaidyn Engelbrecht, Marley Engelbrecht, Kaiden Bates, Konnor Bates, Kristian Bates-Benning, Barrett Walter, Thea May Terrill, Sister, Betty Rose Lee Howell Blevins, Brothers, Rondall Howell, Clyde (Margaret) Howell, Gary (Faye) Howell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Keeton, her parents, Hattie Jewell Ison Howell Hall and Elbert Howell, sisters, America Alice Howell, Elsie Faye Howell Frazier and Clotene Howell Shearer. Brothers, Rosevelt Junior Howell and Forest Gene Gillespie.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home with, Rev. Joe Gamble, Pastor Jeff Adkins and Bro. David Elliott. Burial will take place at the Keeton & Ison Cemetery in Crockett, KY. Visitation starts at 12:00 Noon Sunday at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home.
