Coy Gene Keeton, age, 71, of Ezel, KY passed away Tuesday October 24, 2023 at the Hazard Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. He was born November 8, 1951 in Mima, KY to Oral & Mattie Smith Keeton.

He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord & savior.

Preceded in death by his wife, Pat King Keeton, daughter, Rebecca Keeton Auxier. His parents, Oral & Mattie Smith Keeton. 6 brothers, Tom, Ray, Paul, Dan, Shelby, Arthur Keeton, 2 sisters, Lucy Arthur & Cathern (Gert) Ball.

Surviving are his daughter, Misty Roig, 2 granddaughters, Danielle Auxier, Samantha Auxier. Survivors also include 3 grandsons, Taylor Ferguson, Seth Ferguson, Chaze Ferguson. 1 sister, Ellen & Mike Stevens, 2 brothers, Roy (Coys twin) Keeton & Carl Keeton.

Funeral services will be held at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home in West Liberty, KY at 1:00 PM Thursday October 26, 2023 with Elder Bobby Smith & Elder James Brown officiating. Interment will be held at the Jess King Cemetery in Caney, KY. Visitation starts at 11:30 AM Thursday October 26, 2023 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
