Danny D. Daniel

Danny D. Daniel, age, 75 of Ashland, KY and formerly of Dingus, KY passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Kings Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY following a brief illness. He was born April 27, 1948, in Dingus, KY to Walter Francis Daniel & Mintie Hill Daniel.

He was a retired coal miner & accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter Francis Daniel & Mintie Hill Daniel, his wife, Mary Daniel. One son, Jackie Daniel, one daughter, Diana Michelle Daniel. Three brothers, Thirel Daniel, Bill Daniel, Joe Daniel.

Surviving are his two sons, Jerry Lee Daniel of Heath Springs, SC, Francis Scott Daniel of Paintsville, KY, one daughter, Dana Marie & Johnny O’Neal Elkfork, KY, two step sons, Danny Daymude of Ashburn, Virginia, & Doug Daymude Ashland, KY . Three grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Two sisters, Rachael & Lige Cantrell, Sarah Deaton both of Piqua, OH. Three brothers, Glenn & Phyllis Daniel of Pensacola, FL, Raymond Daniel of Oil Springs, KY, Donnie & Reta Daniel of West Liberty, KY.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday February 10, 2024, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West liberty, KY with Elder Austin Knipp officiating. Interment will be held at the Daniel Cemetery, White Oak Branch Rd, Dingus, KY. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday February 8, 2024, at the Steen Funeral Home, 3409 13th Street, Ashland, KY 41102. At 5:00 PM Friday February 9, 2024, visitation will be held at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
