Darlene Blankenship

Darlene Blankenship, age 58, of Hwy 191,Cannel City, KY, passed away Monday,December 30,2019 in the Hazard ARH,Hospital, Hazard,KY after a brief illness. Darlene was born May 25, 1961 in Detroit,Michigan to the late Earl VanCleave and Phyllis Puckett Harvey. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a loving wife, mother,grandmother, and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, David VanCleave, one sister, Christina Colson, and one brother, Verl VanCleave.

Surviving is her husband, Charles Blankenship of Cannel City, KY, three daughters, Angel Riley of Malone, KY, Amber Blankenship, and Asia Blankenship both of Cannel City, KY. Three sons, Matthew VanCleave, and Christopher VanCleave both of Lincolin Park, Michigan, and Charles Blankenship of West Liberty, KY. Sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. One sister, Sandy VanCleave of Detroit, Michigan. Three brothers, Michael VanCleave of Savannah, Georgia, Anthony VanCleave of Virginia, and Rick VanCleave of Detroit, Michigan.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:pm,Wednesday,January 1,2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Raymond VanCleave officiating. Visitation will be 6:00pm Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
