David Collin McKenzie, age 18 of Hwy 519,West Liberty, KY passed away Thursday, June 2,2022. He was born October 3,2003 in Morehead,KY to David McKenzie and Michelle Watson. He enjoyed working on the farm and tinkering with old tractors, he loved the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a graduate of Morgan County High School.

Surviving are his mother Michelle Watson, his father David McKenzie, his bonus dad Chad Brooks, his daughter Presleigh McKenzie, grandmother June Mitchell, grandfather David Watson, his fiancee Laken Haney, two sisters Keisha & Caleb Ison and Kendra McKenzie. Host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Theodore “Sonny” Mitchell, grandparents Hershel & Wanda McKenzie and uncle Michael Watson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Monday June 6,2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Timothy Sargent, Bro. Donald Cox and Bro. Gary Ferguson officiating. Interment in West Liberty Memorial Gardens, West Liberty, KY. Visitation will be starting at 6:00pm, Sunday in Herald & Stewart & Haley Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Active pallbearers: Caleb Ison, Jeremy Thornberry, James Fugate, Josh Watson, Russel Patrick, Dan Vanderlaan. Honorary pallbearers: His nephew Taelon McKenzie, Chad Brooks, Bennie Perkins, Randy McKenzie.
