Dolores Darlene Adkins

Dolores Darlene Lawson Adkins, age 66 of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, KY passed away Friday, July 14, 2006 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY after an brief illness.

She was born October, 15, 1939 in Middletown, Ohio. Dolores was the daughter of the late Samuel Henry & Nellie Louise Smith Lawson.

She was a retired Nursing Assistant & Homemaker. Also attended the Index Community Church of West Liberty, KY.

She was preceded in death by her father; Samuel Henry Lawson, and her companion; Lonnie Adkins.

Dolores is survived by her childrens Father; Hershel Adkins, West Liberty, KY; her Mother; Nellie Louise Smith Lawson, Middletown, OH; Children; Mark & Brenda Adkins, West Liberty, KY, Michelle & Mickey Whitt, West Liberty, KY, Kimberly Kay & Johnny Price, Morehead, KY, Michael Scott Adkins, West Liberty, KY, Eva & Scot Kemplin, Woodsbend, KY and Hershel & Kristi Adkins, West Liberty, KY; 2 Sisters; Karen Norris & Joyce Cornett, both of Franklin, Ohio; 5 Brothers; David Lawson, Hamilton, OH, Tim Lawson, Liberty, IN, Stephen Lawson, Larry Lawson, and Darrell Lawson, all of Middletown, OH; 16 grandchldren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were conducted 1:30 pm Monday, July 17, 2006 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, with Rev. Mike Frisby, Rev. James Allen, and Rev. Eugene Haney. Burial followed in the Salyer Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.

Jr. Pallbearers; Michael Samuel Adkins, Micah Solomon Adkins, Asa Hunter Kemplin, Joshua Matthew Adkins, and Tyler Cantrell.

Active Pallbearers were Chris Frisby, Jason Frisby, Adam Adkins, Chase Price, Jordan Whitt, Gabe Helterbrand, Derrick Cantrell, Justin Williams and Ras Debord.
