Dora Jean Perkins, age 73, of Carver Place, West Liberty, KY passed away Friday, May 6,2022 at her home after a brief illness. Born February 10,1949 in Madison, West Virginia to Plena Frank Thompson and Laura Lea Bloomer. She was an LPN at the Boys Camp
Surviving are two daughters, Melinda Perkins and Mary Roark, four sons, Charles Perkins, John & Joyce Perkins, Dennie Perkins and Isaiah & Shonda Perkins. Host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary Ann & Tim Walker, Janie Mangus, one brother Robert Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Plena Frank Thompson and Laura Lea Bloomer, one son, Dennie Perkins, two brothers, Plena and James Thompson, special friend Carolyn Gevedon.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 10,2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Raymond Van Cleave and Mark Walter officiating. Burial in Ezel Cemetery, Ezel,KY. Visitation start 6:00pm, Monday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
Active pallbearers: Charles Perkins, John Perkins, Dennie Perkins, Isaiah Perkins, Josh McMahan and Tyler Perkins. Honorary pallbearers: Colton Perkins, Caleb Perkins, Brycen Perkins, Connor Perkins, Dennie Perkins and J.B. Perkins.
