Douglas Tomes, 70, of West Liberty, Ky completed his earthly journey on, Friday, May 29, 2020 at his home after an extended illness. Born January 25, 1950 in Cincinnati,Ohio. He was very proud to let everyone know that God came into his life and saved his soul. He has now started his heavenly life with his mother Viola Tomes, two sisters, Pam Ross and Elaine Smith, and one brother Dan Tomes. He was a retired car sales man.
He leaves behind two daughters, Kendra Leann Tomes, West Liberty,KY. Angie (Mike) Muse, Flemingsburg,KY. One, son Derrick (Monika) Tomes of Morehead,KY. His girlfriend, Diane Smith of West Liberty,KY. Three step-daughters, Michelle Stamper and Kimberly Smith of Morehead,KY, and Crystal Howard of West Liberty,KY. Two grandsons Corey and Chase Muse of Flemingsburg,KY. Host of nieces and nephews.
COVID-19 regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Monday, June 1,2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Kenny Ross officiating. Burial in the Ross Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation 11:00am, Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are his loving family.
