Dwight Lewis

Dwight Lewis, age 69 of Weston, WV, formerly of West Liberty, KY, departed this life Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in the Mon General Hospital, Morgantown, WV, after a brief illness. Born in West Liberty, KY, on April 11, 1956, he is the son of Stanley and Anna Berniece (née Lewis) Lewis. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and was a retired logger.

Surviving children, Anthony Bowling of Morehead, KY; Melissa Lewis Fyffe & (Mickey) of Blaine, KY; Ricky Dean & (Jessica) of Bridgeport, WV; and Elissa Lewis Childers & (fiancé William Jenkins) of Lancaster, OH. Kristie Lewis, of Olive Hill, KY; Chad Lewis & (Janelle) of Ashland, VA; and Tracy Lewis Clem & (Charles) of Weston, WV. Amy Hess of Glenville, WV; Brandie Lewis & fiancé Jeremy Hess of Bridgeport, WV; and Dwight Lewis of Bridgeport, WV. Siblings, Diana (Bernal) Blankenship, Miamisburg, OH; Robert (Bonnie) Lewis, of West Liberty, KY. Lydonna Malone of Morehead, KY, Phill (Carmie) Lewis, of West Liberty, KY, Donald Ray (Peggy) Lewis of Salyersville, KY; Dennis (Marilyn) Lewis of West Liberty, KY; Ricky (Rhonda) Lewis of West Liberty, KY; Jeffery (Terri) Lewis; and Vernon Lewis, both of West Liberty, KY. Thirty-five grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Anna Berniece Lewis; his wife, Cindy Lewis; one daughter, Amanda Lewis; and one great-granddaughter, Elianah Rose. two brothers, Barry and Russell Lewis.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm, Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, with Bro. Phillip Ferguson and Bro. Garry Ferguson officiating. Interment in the Robert Lewis Cemetery, Blaze, KY. Visitation is at 6 pm on Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY, in care of the funeral.
