Elmer Gene Neff, age 74, of Hazel Green, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 2,2020 in the Kentucky River Medical Center, Jackson, Kentucky after a brief illness. Born August 31,1946 in Campton, Kentucky son of the late Elmer & Bessie Elkins Neff. He was a retired post master and farmer. He accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior. Besides his parents, his sister Barbara Taulbee preceded him in death.
Survivors include, his daughter Gina Neff and husband Phillip Howard of Oxford, England. Son and wife, Anthony and Kerri Neff of Lexington,Kentucky. Four grandchildren, Harrison and Elliot Neff, Gordon and Hammer Howard. One sister, Shirley Neff Howard of Austin,TX.
COVID-19 regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.
Graveside services will be 12:Noon, Monday, September 7,2020 at Hazel Green Cemetery, Hazel Green, Kentucky with Pastor Charles Glover officiating. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky in care of Elmer Gene Neff arrangements.
