Eugene Barnett

Eugene Barnett, age, 75 of Wellington, KY passed away Sunday March 24, 2024, at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead, KY after an extended illness. He was born December 1, 1948, in Salyersville, KY to Clyde Barnett & Ethel Watkins Poe.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Barnett & Ethel Watkins Poe. One son, James Barnett, one sister, Minnie Smith, four brothers, Clyde Barnett Jr., Roger Barnett, Larry Barnett, Douglas Barnett.

Surviving is his one daughter, Wanda Buehner (David), one son, Stacy Barnett (Cecelia). Six grandchildren, Anthony Barnett, Bridget Barnett, Joshua Slone, Aubrey Buehner, David Buehner, Christopher Buehner. Survivors also include six sisters, Kathleen O’Dell, Ruth, Vanous, Brenda Runyon, Carolyn Davis, Katha Maynard, Patsy Fortner, three brothers, Isom Barnett, Terry Barnett, Jerry Barnett.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday March 30, 2024, at the Masters hand Full Gospel Church, 46 Steel Branch Rd, Hwy 191, West Liberty, KY with Pastor Greg Ferrell officiating. Interment will be held at the Back Cemetery in Wellington; KY. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Friday March 29, 2024, at the Masters hand Full Gospel Church, 46 Steel Branch Rd,  Hwy 191, West Liberty, KY. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
