Francis Leon Russell, age, 79 of West Liberty, KY passed away Thursday February 1, 2024, at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY after a brief illness. He was born May 31, 1944, in Commiskey, Indiana to Francis Marion Russell & Catherine E. Carter Russell.

He was an Elder & Deacon of the Lick Branch Baptist Church, West Liberty, KY & was a 45-year partner of Grassy Auto parts. He loved his family, church, & farm.

Preceded in death by his parents, Francis Marion Russell & Catherine E. Carter Russell. Sister & brother-in-law, Eveleyn & Bud Williams. One brother, Joseph Russell, one son in law, William Bailey.

Surviving is his wife, Brenda Perry Russell, one daughter, Lisa Russell Bailey, two sons, Michael Leon Russell & Gregory Allen Russell. One granddaughter, Kaylee Russell.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday February 4, 2024, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY with Bro. Donnie Pack & Bro. Cortis Ison officiating. Interment will be held at the Henry & Perry Cemetery in Pomp, KY. Visitation starts at 11:00 AM Sunday February 4, 2024, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
