Gene Gamble

Gene Gamble, age 81, of Hammonds Fork , Salyersville, KY, formerly of West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his home after an extended illness. Born March 14, 1937 in West Liberty, KY to the late Floyd Gamble and Ida Wright Gamble.He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Fay Coffee Gamble, three sisters, Gladys Ball, Mable Gamble, and Delpha Gamble and one brother,Morgan Gamble. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savor. He was a retired mechanic.

Surviving is two daughters, Ida & Ricky Carty of Salyersville,KY; Lora & Wayne Thornsberry of West Liberty, KY. One son, Robert & Mary Coffee of West Liberty, KY. Two grandsons, Jason Coffee and Cameron Thornsberry. One granddaughter, Tracy & Paul Crouch. Three great-grandchildren, Elijah, Zachary and Madison Crouch. Three sisters, Irene & Noah Mills, Piqua,Ohio; Maggie Perkins, West Liberty, KY; Jewell O'Neal of Piqua, Ohio. One brother, Billy Gamble of Salyersville,KY. Host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service 1:30pm,Friday,July 20, 2018 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro.Jimmy Conley and Bro.McKinnley Coffee officiating. Interment in Elam Cemetery, West Liberty,KY.  Visitation after 6:00pm,Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty,KY.  Pallbearers, Tim Lykins, Jay Coffee, Gene Mills, Chris Tharp, Ricky Carty and Scott Coffee.
