Georgia Vern (Sargent) Perry-Elam

Georgia Vern Sargent Perry- Elam, age 67, of West Liberty, KY passed away Sunday, January 2,2022 in the Hazard ARH Hospital, Hazard KY after an illness. She was born October 23,1954 in Blaze, KY to Norcrosse Sargent and Rosemary Callahan Burnett.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister & aunt. She had a great love and compassion for animals.

Surviving are her husband Lester Elam, daughter Amanda Rose Nipper (David), son Bryan Eugene Perry. Granddaughter, Breanne Rose Kelsey all of West Liberty ,KY. Sister Cozetta Sargent of Ohio, brother David Timothy Sargent of West Liberty, KY. Host of nieces and nephews. Her beloved dog, Little Girl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norcrosse Sargent and Rosemary Callahan Burnett, daughter, Rachel Michelle Perry, four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm,Thursday, January 6th.2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Vernon Lewis and Bro. David Timothy Sargent officiating. Interment in the Day Cemetery, Blair Mills,KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm,Wednesday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers: Steve Sargent, Ronnie Sargent, Don Sargent, Brandon Allen, James Jennings, Kevin Nipper, Shannon Bowman, Justin Sargent.
