Glen Sargent

Glen Sargent, age 85, of Morehead, KY and formerly of West Liberty, KY  passed away Saturday, April 29,2023 in St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. Born on March 8,1938 in Blaze, KY to McCoy Sargent and Ora Watkins Sargent. He was a member of the Blaze Community Church, Blaze, KY. He retired from the Dayton Water Treatment Plant working as the dispatcher. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Surviving are one daughter Rebecca Sargent, one son Joe & Shelia Sargent, one sister, Frances & Charles Mullins. Four grandchildren, Derrick, Megan, Morgan and Joseph, two great grandchildren Channing and Harrison Dwayne. Two sisters-in law Stella Sargent Caskey, Carol Sargent. One aunt, Vernetta Everett.

He was preceded in death by his parents McCoy and Ora Watkins Sargent and his wives, Marlayne Sargent, Carol Sargent and Odessa Sargent. One granddaughter, Tiffany Sargent and three brothers, Olen, Hershel and Cobern Sargent. One sister-in-law Vada Sargent.

Funeral services 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 2,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Vernon Lewis officiating. Interment in Bishop & Lewis Cemetery, Blaze, KY. Visitation 11:00am Tuesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Charles Mullins, Jeff Lewis, Barry Lewis, Robert Lewis, Timmy Sargent, Dennis Lewis.
