Harold Eugene Perry

Harold Eugene Perry, age 70 of Newsome Rd, West Liberty, KY and formerly of Blairs Mill, KY passed away Saturday, September 4,2021 in the Hospice Care Center, Hazard, KY after an extended illness. He was born December 16,1950 in West Liberty, KY to Hobert McKinley Perry & Amanda Gertrude Arthur Perry.

He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a retired farmer and longtime employee of Potter Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY for 42 years. He was united in marriage to Georgia Sargent with whom he had three children. Then late married Wedlene Fannin Perry.

Surviving are one daughter, Amanda Rose Nipper & David Nipper of West Liberty, KY. One son, Bryan Eugene Perry of Blairs Mill, KY. One granddaughter, Breanne Rose Kelsey & Michael Kelsey of West Liberty, KY. Two great grandsons, Michael Kelsey Jr, and Adam Jacob Kelsey. Special friend, Violet Lewis of West Liberty, KY. Two sisters, Betty Jean Rigsby and Jessie Audrey Fugate both of Blairs Mill, KY. Host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert McKinley Perry and Amanda Gertrude Arthur Perry. His daughter, Rachel Michelle Perry, wife, Wendlene Fannin Perry, sisters,(two infant sisters) Gaye & Faye Perry and Carrie Margaret Jennings, Katherine Louise Reband, Flora Mae Edminston. Two brothers, John Arthur Perry and Charles McKinley Perry.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 8,2021 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. David Sargent and Bro. Harry Flannery officiating. Burial in Day Cemetery, Blairs Mill, KY. Visitation will be 6:00 pm, Tuesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers: Michael Kelsey, James Jennings, Ronnie Sargent, Bo Malcom Carroll, Junior Fugate, Jeremy Fugate, Anthony Mays, Tim Riddle, Kevin Nipper, Nathan Bowman.
