Hershell Roy Whitt

Hershell Roy Whitt, age 63, of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, in the Hospice Care Center, Hazard, KY. He was born August 26, 1959, in West Liberty, KY, the son of Daniel Clay Whitt and Etta Jean Phipps Whitt Clark. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Clay Whitt and Etta Jean Phipps Whitt Clark, twin brother Harold Whitt, brothers; Phillip Whitt, Anthony Whitt, and Sammy Whitt, and one sister, Yelonda Whitt.

Surviving are one sister, Gloria & Dean Adkins, brother Dudley Whitt, three stepsisters, Francis Whitt and Terry Van Cleave, Lollie Wilson & Jimmy Wilson and Cathy O'Connor. Stepbrother Randall & Teresa Whitt. Host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, June 26, 2023, in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Garry Ferguson officiating. Interment in Wrigley Community Cemetery, Wrigley, KY. Visitation start's 11:00 am, Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
