Inistene Perry Smith, age 79, of Bradford, OH, passed away January 31, 2026, at her home after an illness. She was born January 13, 1947, in DeHart, KY, daughter of Charles Calvin Perry and Letha Fannin Perry. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Smith, and her parents, Charles and Letha Perry.  two sisters, Cleda Mae Peyton and Charlene Fugett, and two brothers, Billy Wayne Perry and Glen Lee Perry. 

Survived by two children, Brett Marvin Smith (Amy) of Hazard, Kentucky.  Priscilla Lynn Bishop (Matthew) of Bradford, OH. Three grandchildren: Ethan Lee Horn and Austin Bishop of Bradford, OH, and Asher Gray Smith of Hazard, Kentucky.  Two brothers, Charlie H. Perry (Shirl) of West Liberty, Kentucky, and Clinton Ray Perry (Linda) of West Liberty, Kentucky. Host of nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Mike Lindon officiating. Interment in the Perry Cemetery, West Liberty, KY. Visitation, Sunday at 11:30pm at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers: Matthew Bishop, Ethan Horn, Austin Bishop, Phillip Perry, Chase Perry, and Calvin Perry.  Honorary pallbearers: Asher Smith, Seth Perry, Benjamin Perry, and Jerry Keeton.
