Ira Adkins

Ira Adkins, age 78, of Ezel, KY passed away Wednesday, December 25,2024 at his home after an extended illness. Born on April 4,1946 in West Liberty, KY son of Audie and Claire Trimble Adkins. He was a member of the Pekin Pentecostal Church, Ezel, KY. He worked for Gateway transportation services. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and six sisters.

Surviving is his wife Barbara Barker Adkins, three daughters, Tonya Lowe (Riley), Nada Williams, Nova Roe (Gary). Four grandchildren, Skylar & Talon Lowe, Shelby Marcum (Chris), Bethany Barker. 1 great-grandchild Owen Marcum. One sister Imogene McGuire. Host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, December 28,2024 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Rick Holbrook and Bro. Quentin Murphy officiating. Interment in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation starts 11: am Saturday December 28, 2024 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
