J.R. Jenkins

J.R.Jenkins, age 50, of Hwy 705, West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 15,2020 in the Campbell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington,WV. after an extended illness. Born February 17, 1970 in Campton, KY to Larry Jenkins and Connie Nickell Jenkins. He was a member of the Lick Branch Enterprise Baptist Church, Old Hwy 172,West Liberty,KY, and worked as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his mother Connie Nickell Jenkins.

Surviving are his wife Christy White Jenkins, his father Larry Jenkins, one daughter Charity Le`Shae Jenkins, two sons Ryan W.C. Jenkins and Deara Spencer, Perry “Kyle” Jenkins & wife Hannah. Two granddaughters Jaelyn Jenkins, Ava Grace Campbell, two grandsons Jackson Jenkins and Coen Jenkins. Two blessed children Ella Mae Wilburn and Austin Garrett McKinney. One sister Shawna Sargent (Ollie). One brother Jeremy Jenkins (Angel). Host of nieces and nephews, host of great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm,Saturday,September 19, 2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Mike Moore and Bro. Roger Skaggs officiating. Interment in Johnny Jenkins Cemetery, Joe Jenkins Road Old Hwy 172,West Liberty,KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm Friday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Active pallbearers: Friends & Relatives. Honorary pallbearers: Ollie Sargent, Danny Bryant, Freddy Long, Mark Noble, Chad White, Rusty White.
