Jack Yates, age 83, of KY 172,West Liberty, KY passed away Wednesday, April 20,2022 at his home from a brief illness. He was born March 29,1939 in Rochester, N.Y, to Frank and Lois Purdy Yates. Jack had many occupations and a “jack of all trades”. He was a blacksmith, taxi driver, carpenter or any job he wanted to do. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Lois Purdy Yates and two brothers Raymond and Kevin Yates.

Surviving are his wife Linda Caudill Yates, daughter Christy Jenkins, stepdaughter Crystal Prater and three sons Norman Yates, Allen Yates and Brian Yates. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family is having private services. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY in care of Jack Yates services.
